Every winter, my husband and I head for a warm and sunny climate, and we enjoy several months of living in a tropical climate. Last year, we both tried scuba diving for the first time on our vacation, and I bumped my head against a rock and had to go to the hospital for stitches. Thankfully, we had purchased seniors travel insurance, so here was no out of pocket cost to us. We simply presented our proof of coverage to the hospital staff, and they noted it in their records. I don’t know how much we would have had to pay without it, and thankfully I never had to worry!
