Avalanche Lake is a delightful destination for Adirondack Mountains vacations. Avalanche Lake is located at the bottom of Avalanche Pass in between Avalanche Mountain and the MacIntyre Range. Outdoorsmen, photographers, and families love the crisp air, natural seclusion, and remoteness of the lake. The mile long lake is home to skiers during the winter and extreme hikers in the summer.
