New Tribes Mission is a missionary group that visits third world nations helping the tribal people that most people and the tribal people’s governments have forgotten about. They travel to Papua New Guinea, Thailand, Mongolia, South America, Latin America, Southeast Asia, the Philippines, West Africa, Senegal, Greenland and several other countries. Their mission is to teach people literacy and the word of God through the mobilization of churches in the area. They visit people and places that are the most needy that have no existing translation of the bible. Through bible scripture, they are able to teach the tribal people how to read and write in their own language.
