Although it is unsure just how many tribes are located around the world, if anything is to be learned about their language and culture, it is essential that some strong relationships are formed first.  This is what is known by the New Tribes Mission who has spend many years working their way into the tribal villages around the world to learn the language and the culture.  The relationships are formed throughout several years as the tribal people are taught basic first aid and literacy, which they otherwise would not know.  Often times there are harsh conditions that exist, but the missionaries are dedicated to improving the lives of others within the tribe.
