When I lost my job last year, I thought I would not be able to get another job. I spent many weeks being depressed and avoiding telephone calls. One day, I decided that I would get in some training classes to improve my chances of getting hired again. I called our career center to see what classes they offered to adults and signed up for a hydraulic training course. In the six weeks of training I learned a lot of information and also got help from my teacher on how to interview for a job. I was just hired on at a local company, and I completed that course just last week!
