My husband and I are drowning in a sea of debt. We waited until graduating from college to get married and just knew we would each get a good paying job in the workforce. Unfortunately, these jobs have not materialized. My husband works in a book store and I work in a day care center. We need help with our student loans as we are having to live with his parents just to make it. His dad suggested we look into Federal Loan Consolidation and we have an appointment to speak to a lender next week. I love my in-laws but we really need a place of our own.
