In keeping with my recent theme of using exercise to help you feel Awake, Alert, Energized & Recharged here’s a real life example of what I did.

It was a great teaching day but I was really drained due to teaching a new lesson to my 5 PE classes. I also developed a headache which really bothered me because it’s not often I get one.

So did I go for the aspirin? Heck no! I simply joined my athletes at practice for stair exercises.

I threw on my 40 pound weighted vest and was right in there with the softball and basketball athletes. We did 10 rounds of stairs including buddy carries which areone of the most advanced and grueling stair exercises you can do.
