Why you should backup your PS3 game discs
Sometimes you still get the question asked:”why should you backup ps3 games?”, so it’s probably worthwhile my taking a second to provide the answer – You do so simply because it makes sound economic sense to backup PS3 games. If I’m paying $50 or thereabouts for the latest PS3 games, there’s absolutely no way I’d be wanting to hand over another $50 just to re-purchase the same media should those original discs become corrupted. And they do get damaged over time because with continual use (and don’t we all play our PS3 games a lot) they can start to accumulate little scratches which can eventually lead to them becoming unplayable. What we’re really talking about here is making backup copies of your PS3 game discs to protect your original investment.
