In some cases, I believe that thank you gifts should accompany a thank you card. Obviously, it depends on just how thankful you are and what I am thanking the person for. If one person has done something very nice and generous I tend to send a gift basket or some other type of gift to show how much I appreciated their gesture. I did learn a lesson in doing this. The other day I was asking my daughter what she wanted for Christmas. She had already told me anything that has her favorite football team on it, the Indianapolis Colts. I had already found her several t-shirts as well as a blanket and a couple posters for her room, but I needed one more special thing. I asked my husband for some input and he said how about colts jewelry. I didn’t even know if they made such a thing, but it wouldn’t hurt to look. So, I pulled out my laptop and started searching. Imagine my surprise when I got a google page full of listings.I found her  a great pair of earrings and it was a Colt’s filled Christmas for her.

On Wednesday my friend Matt and i took a drive into the city. We’ve been planning this trip for quite some time now, and it finally happened. Matt and I both play guitar, and we’ve been talking about a vintage guitar shop in the city for the past two years. On Wednesday we had the chance to go and see it in person, wow, it was amazing. They had every guitar you could imagine there. They had some really sweet wolfgang vintage guitars, that made both of our mouths drop. If all goes well, we plan on going back next month to make a purchase.
