When you are a roofer you run into all different kinds of roofing methods and systems used to cover a home or building.  Just recently we ran into a building that had some old asphalt shingles on it.  They wanted to give it a metal top to give it that industrial feel.  However, the money that it would have cost them to remove the old shingles was too much.  So we decided to install metal roofing over asphalt shingles.  That was a first for me, but it worked.  They now have the look they have been wanting at the price they wanted.
