so you’re thinking it’s time to feel the wind in your face, the freedom of the open road, all on a vehicle that can corner at 100mph and hit speeds of over 200mph?  and just for good measure, all of this is happening on a vehicle whose safety features consist of clothing worn by the rider… can you see why crotch rocket insurance rates tend to be so high?  when i got mine, my rates weren’t too bad, but i had a perfect driving record – i had a friend who was paying a couple grand a year to insure his because his driving record was so bad.
