Betty and I have been friends for about five or six years. We met at a conference that our jobs forced us to attend. The entire time we sat and complained about being there. We helped each other through it. We had so much fun. We have been inseparable ever since. She used to tease me about my old car. She used to say that it was going to break down any minute. Well this weekend was that minute. It would cost the price of another car to get it fix so she co-signed for a Ford Fiesta for me as a birthday gift.
